Of frogs and lightning, guys and gals.
The gate shakes.
The wind rattles outside.
The air conditioning hums inside.
Silence does not exist.
Hashem invented silence,
But took it away
The day before Evolution.
I don’t like silence;
It gives me the anxiety creeps.
Silent people?
I don’t trust ‘em.
The loud city,
Opinionated women,
Music and mercy...
Those are the things
That keep me praying.
Applause is a good sound
If it’s genuine.
Same goes for laughs.
