I never downright hated Harry Potter,
rather I was simply indifferent,
for I am always happy when folks read,
but wizards and dragons are just not
for my mind tastebuds,
and it's the same reason I don't watch Game of Thrones,
it's just not for me,
but that's not to say I don't appreciate
and support literature being read and adapted
any and every time,
because I definitely do,
and as a matter of fact, I did read the first Harry Potter,
because I liked this one alt cover I saw,
so I picked it up on my travels
and enjoyed it,
but I was reassured that fantasy
of certain kinds
are not for me, apologies.
