it helps to already be famous
when you start a podcast.
As I look over middle age,
with 12 books under my belt
and 160 episodes in the can,
I firmly believe my ideas are sound.
The mission: bang out the novel and try not to die,
because the planet is boiling
and no one will care
if something was beautiful (or funny) once.
