A Million Moon Monsoons

Every poetry open mic
is the [beautiful] same;
I write about this fact with respect
in my novel manuscript,
and I talk about it on my podcast.

I am the same [ugly] creature
of habit and discourse;
of course I am Ken-like creation
[I just saw the Barbie film
and side note: loved it].

Even when people [audiences]
say they want something different,
they do not;
they want a centipede
that crawls on its knees.

I would rather one [1] earthquake
than a million moon monsoons,
and that is why I changed my life;
gotta keep the foes on their toes,
and the audiences wanting more.
