Exit Wounds

Other than exhausted,
I feel dumb, sad, scared,
happy, amused, clueless,
brimming with the blues,
indifferent, engaged,
iniquitous, enraged,
absent, confident, tolerant,
bored, restless, depressed,
poor, pensive, stressed,
proud and confused,
anxious and abused,
active and enthused,
calm, pleased, teased,
nervous, content, relieved,
passive, aggressive, peeved,
lonely, heartbroken, gloomy
disappointed, hopeless, doomy,
grieved, lost, troubled, resigned
alert, proud (again), maligned
excited and delighted,
determined, inspired,
jovial, jocular, jaded,
heated, hallowed, hated,
fascinated, elated, exasperated,
squished, squashed, unwashed,
bold and blissful,
compassionate and cheerful,
curious and forgetful,
grateful and hateful,
happy (again), sad (again),
romantic, pedantic, frantic,
nice, naughty, nostalgic...
and as the bullet leaves my body,
I could go on and on and on.
