I just want to tell stories
that are reflections of everyday human spirit.
Because people are unfamiliar
with the pedestrian poems I write,
and the algorithm doesn't understand
what the point is,
a lot of the times my work
does not perform well.
That's not to say
I need external validation
such as social metrics,
yet for some reason
this feels necessary
to be a creative these days.
But I will keep creating for me,
because that is what makes me happy.
