- F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby
I usually hate Summer –
from sweating through socks,
to the overhyped activities,
as a season it just doesn't do it for me.
But this Summer feels different,
like something is shifting,
confidence is coming back,
and I can conquer even the sweatiest of days.
Maybe it is the travel on the horizon,
or the creative juices flowing like a slip-n-slide,
but something positive is popping,
and this summer has what others did not: Possibility.
