gave a man money,
I peed in a bookstore restroom,
checked the poetry section;
I was not there.
We went to trader Joe's,
bought her sugar free sugar cookies,
which I think taste like cardboard,
but they are for her, not me;
I am not on these shelves either.
We took a selfie
in front of the fountain,
under the low red moon,
and I know that somewhere,
somehow I am on the shelf of the world.
