Let's think of an original term to describe the grind.
I don't know, I just don't like the term grind and what it implies.
Life shouldn't be a grind;
it should be a lazy river that we leisurely float on.
We should have a job that pays a livable wage
and does not stress us out.
We should get good sleep
and instinctively – not actively – practice self care.
I am technically off tomorrow,
and I refuse to check emails,
be sad or even write,
unless it is for me.
