Aloysius the Cat

I fantasize about elevator doors,
a bullet full of surprises,
the eyes of a cat called Aloysius.

Everyone deserves to feel hurt,
gauge and weigh and experience the pain,
while comparing against love and happiness.

Let's see what's in store
behind the pawn shop of my mind,
bartering for broken mothers.

I yawned while driving
and almost ran over a man;
we both just shrugged on the luck.

We are roll the dice,
but not all of us have companions
that can climb.

Don't penalize every night,
because certain days are bad,
even though Aloysius clawed the curtains.
