Started the day
by accidentally
poking myself in the eye.
Then I hurt my neck
after the shower
while toweling my hair.
I'm getting old
and clumsy
and I don't like it.
I want to be 25 again
with the eyes and heart
of a 23 year old.
If I am past my prime,
then let me live in limes
